Aurora Energy submitted our CPP application to the Commerce Commission on 12 June 2020. It sought regulatory approval for a programme of investment to undertake essential maintenance and upgrades needed to keep Aurora Energy’s network in Dunedin, Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes safe, resilient and able to meet expected electricity demand. Our CPP application and future plans are available below.

We completed a major programme of work in Dunedin, Central Otago/Wānaka and Queenstown Lakes to upgrade the electricity network after past under-investment.
