You have told us you would like the option to receive a text reminder when we have to turn the power off for scheduled maintenance on the Aurora Energy network. We're launching a trial of this service as part of our ongoing commitment to improve our customer experience. The trial will give us valuable insights into how the text reminder service works in practice and help us identify any improvements. 

Please note: This does not replace notification about any scheduled power outages that you will officially receive from your electricity retailer (who you pay your bills to). The retailer notifications are usually sent to you at least ten working days before the outage date. Our friendly reminder complements these. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How to sign up for text reminders

If you would like to receive a text reminder from Aurora Energy two days before any planned power outages at your property, please enter your ICP number and cell phone number in the fields below. You'll find your ICP (installation control point) number on your power bill.

Once you enter your details, you'll receive a text with a validation code to complete your registration.

Please note, as per the SMS Terms of Use, SMS Services are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including cell phone network or mobile carrier issues.

If this service is popular, we'll look to extend it to unplanned power outages and other notifications you would find useful. We'll keep a close eye on how the trial is going and if things don't go as planned, we may modify or pause it while we make changes.
