Aurora Energy’s community updates focus on the electricity network upgrades either recently completed, currently underway or upcoming on each of our three networks (Ōtepoti Dunedin, Central Otago/Wānaka, Tāhuna Queenstown Lakes).

Three versions are published to give customers tailored information about their community.

Published in local community newspapers every six months, the updates support our bi-annual community update "Your Network, Your News" that is inserted into the same community newspapers on the corresponding six months. Combined, they provide our communities with regular updates throughout the year.

Our latest advertorials will be published on Thursday 26 February and Friday 27 February in the following publications:  

  • The Star Dunedin (Ōtepoti Dunedin focus)
  • Central Otago News (Central Otago/ Wānaka focus)
  • Wānaka Sun (Central Otago/ Wānaka focus)
  • Mountain Scene (Tāhuna Queenstown focus)
