Arrowtown Work Programme

From 2021 to present, we have had a large work programme underway in the Arrowtown and surrounding areas focusing on upgrading and reconfiguring the network to operate more efficiently and reliably.

Project Overview

This work programme has included a number of projects, including asset replacements (poles, cross arms, power lines, and transformers), maintenance and upgrades of equipment, undergrounding one span of overhead power lines in Denbeigh Street, upgrading and maintaining the voltage regulator and recloser on Morven Ferry Road, installing a recloser on Whitechapel Road (Crown Range) and upgrading the Arrowtown ring through the completion of a new 33 kV cable,
