Temporary Road Closures on Queenstown-Glenorchy Road

Aurora Energy is replacing three power poles and five cross arms along the Queenstown-Glenorchy Road by Twelve Mile Delta and, due to the narrow road, temporary closures are needed to keep members of the public safe.

The road will be open every hour, on the hour between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to allow traffic to pass, and traffic management will be in place. Emergency services will have access at all times.

ElectroNet will be doing the work on behalf of Aurora Energy and have already replaced 58 power poles, four cross arms and installed new electrical switches in the Glenorchy area.
